Shofar in the Park

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins this year at sundown on September 7. To help ensure that every Jew in Aspen Hill and Flower Valley can celebrate the holiday, we have arranged another option for those that are unable to make it to the synagogue: Shofar in the Park.

The service will take place on Sunday, September 7, at Aspen Hill Field (see exact location below), and will include the sounding of the shofar, which is central to the observance of Rosh Hashanah, as well as a tashlich service. The Tashlich location is a 2-3 minute walk from the Shofar service at the field.
